Róbert was born in Nitra, Slovakia. He has been inclined towards floristry since childhood. His grandparents led him to love nature, and that is also why is his central motif the identity of Slovak flora in his work Róbert has been a floristry teacher since the age of 19, when he started as a lecturer at the university, Gradually, his work as a teacher and coach expanded to a trend maker and trendsetter with impact worldwide. Robert's publications areread by people in more than 80 countries worldwide. He is the author of several important concepts that shape the world of floristry, and in 2019, he won the prestigious world award Floral Designer of The Year 2019.

One of his current concepts that shape world floristry is The Future of Floristry project. Two author projects are currently underway. The first project is dedicated to the future of floristry and new techniques, technologies and new forms of art that are connected with floristry, it is a project that started in Katowice at the Europa Cup. The second author's project of floristry as art, this author's project is based on the highest form of masterclass floristry. This project included 4 masterclass workshops in the year 2003. Two workshops were held in Slovakia on the theme of floristry as art: February on the theme of bouquets, August on the theme of wreaths and then 2 workshops abroad on the theme - floristry as art- a column in June and floristry as art - a table in October, both in Spain.
